Now Dr. Mark Hyman, who claims to have changed his biological age to 20 years, night routinesomething that, along with intense exercise, a healthy diet, and some therapies, was the key to achieving cell markers within 43 years.
Dr. Hyman’s Sleep Schedule
1- Dinner: dinner time between six and seven o’clock. It usually consists of a mixture of vegetables, sweet potatoes and animal protein, beef or fish such as salmon or mackerel.
2- End of technology use: The doctor says he can use his cell phone during dinner, but once he’s done, any type of screen is saved until the next day.
3- Two hours to rest: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. is the time to encourage relaxation, such as reading a book or going for a walk.
4-Hot bath with salts: Around nine, Dr. Hyman prepares a hot bath with Epsom salts and lemon oil.
5-Meditation: Before going to bed, the doctor meditates for about 20 minutes.
6-Reduce stress: Just before bed, she takes magnesium glycinate, a supplement that has been shown to help reduce stress.
7-Block any distractions: Hyman wears earplugs and a mask.
8-Cleaned room with ideal temperature: her bedroom is never cluttered, has blackout blinds and low temperatures of 13 to 14 degrees.
