Little more than a year has passed since that fateful day, when Corporal Michael Nathanael Veron fell while initiating in the Monte 30 (Apostles) regiment of the Argentine army, causing very serious injuries to the spine.
That accident, which took place at the Army Noncommissioned Officers’ Club (La Chale) in the capital Yerba Mata, left him with a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed. “Today I can’t move my legs, all this has completely changed the life of me and my family,” he told FM 89.3 Santa Maria de las Misiones.
