Google launches new tools
For each of the Internet users, the confidentiality of their data is very important, which is why changes in this area have intensified in recent years.
One such brand is Google, which invests in helping you manage your online experience with intuitive and easy-to-use tools.
“Today, we’re announcing new ways to help you stay in control of your personal information, online privacy and security,” the company explained in a press release.
This tool is added to a tool launched last year called “Results About You” to make it easier for you to request deletion of search results containing your phone number, address or personal email directly from the Google app or where you access search.
“Now we have significantly updated and improved the tool to help you track your personal contact information in Search and notify you when we find it so you can request it be deleted,” they explain.
According to the company, Results About You will save the user time and effort when tracking down your personal contact information.
This tool can also be accessed within the Google app by clicking on your Google account photo and selecting “Results about you” from the drop-down menu, or by visiting goo.gle/resultsaboutyou. This tool is currently available in English for the US, but we are working on making it available in new languages and locations soon.
Another change the company has made is more control for the entire family, which is why we’re also investing in helping you maintain control of the online experience for you and your family.
“Earlier this year, we announced a new safeguard to help protect you from unintentionally finding obscene images in Search. In this update, explicit images, such as adult or violent content, are greyed out by default when they appear in search results,” he said.
They explain that the new SafeSearch blur option will be available to all users worldwide this month and will be the default in Google search for people who don’t already have SafeSearch filtering enabled.
And this is how networks decide to increase the security and privacy of their users’ data, as it is relevant information for everyone.
