Cardi B is not scared to express her inner child!
The “Up” singer, 32, shared on Instagram Stories that she just reintroduced a sour snack from her youth – blue sour powder — to add taste to her fruit ahead of the holidays.
In the video she released, the rapper can be seen grabbing a piece of chopped pineapple off a paper plate and carrying it over to a blue cup packed almost to the brim with sour powder. She then dipped it in before biting.
“This is what we’re doing at 6 a.m.,” Cardi explained in the video. “We take a pineapple piece and we dip it in this blue sour powder candy that I bought from TikTok.”
She then made a loud satisfied moan as she ate the goodie, joking, “It’s good but sour.”
Cardi captioned the video, “I will be having the most childish cravings.”
The rapper, who owns the spiked whipped cream business Whipshots, has already experimented with some unusual food pairings. In 2021, she posted on Instagram that she discovered the ideal pairing of Doritos and BBQ sauce around 2 a.m.
“This s— is good,” she exclaimed in the video. “I won’t lie. S— done well. You’re going to enjoy it, so try it. “Try it and tell me I’m correct.”
She also described how she came up with the idea to combine the two, stating that she was “dumb hungry” and had “nothing to eat but candy and Doritos.” Because she doesn’t enjoy “eating chips mad dry” without a “dip,” she decided to “put some BBQ sauce.”
“Yo, I think I did something, bro,” she exclaimed while consuming the creation. “I done stuff. Deadass, if you have this s— at home, try it. “Like, I did something.”
Earlier this year, Cardi stated that she had tried balut, a renowned Filipino dish made from a fertilized duck egg. The egg is boiled with the meat inside, resulting in a strong-flavored soup.
“I’ve noticed this for a long time; it’s called balut. “I got it; let’s try it and rate it from 1 to 10,” she remarked, imitating Lee’s well-known TikTok introduction. “This egg is enormous! Like this egg is producing two yolks.”
The artist was then seen pouring a lemon combination into the open egg, taking a sip of the soup and gagging. She also chewed into the duck meat before spitting it out. She eventually realized that the dish was just “not for me.”
“No. “I don’t like it,” Cardi explained. “… It’s quite meaty. It tastes to me like raw chicken. I’m not sure; it was simply too gamey for me. “There’s too much meat scent.”
