Taylor Swift’s time as a singer is over!
The pop star, who turned 35 on Friday, Dec. 13, toasted her latest accomplishments at an Eras Tour-themed party with her boyfriend Travis Kelce. The party took place just days after the end of her record-breaking tour in Vancouver on Dec. 8.
Brittany Mahomes posted pictures from the party on Instagram on Wednesday, December 18. Brittany, who is 29 years old, wore a silver minidress with fringe that sparkled and knee-high boots that paid homage to Taylor Swift’s record Fearless.
Her husband Patrick Mahomes wore a suit that looked like the outfit change from Swift’s “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” tour.
In other pictures, Swift wore her trademark red lipstick and a black dress. She also pulled back her hair. The singer posed with Brittany along with Chiefs WAG Lyndsay Bell, who was wearing a bright, dazzling pink outfit that looked like something from Lover, and Swift’s friend Ashley Avignone, who was wearing a snake around her neck to match her fame.
People at the party wore feather boas and bright clothes that went with her records for the theme.
There were friendship bracelets and light-up bracelets all over the table in the cozy venue, which was also a cute nod to the Eras Tour.
The NFL celebrated Swift’s birthday by sharing a sweet video of her and Kelce together. With Toby Gad and Celina Sharma singing John Legend’s “All of Me,” the video had touching clips of the couple dancing to the song.
The 35-year-old Kelce was a part of her stop in London on the Eras Tour, and she ran to him for a kiss when he came to see her perform in Buenos Aires.
The video also shows Swift and Kelce walking together after different Chiefs games over the last two seasons. It also shows some of Swift’s best game-day outfits, such as her Kristin Juszczyk-designed “87” jacket.
Ted Kelce talked about getting Taylor Swift a special gift for her birthday late last week. He said it’s not always easy on the Dec. 12 episode of the Baskin and Phelps show.
“Buying Taylor a present is like trying to buy Jason or Travis a present,” he said. “There’s nothing they want that they don’t already have.”
Ed’s answer? He wants to “get something that will make her heart skip a beat that costs ten bucks.” She’ll be all gooey after that. You need to find something that makes you feel that way.
This year was a big one for Swift’s success. The New York Times says that her 149-show Eras Tour brought in an amazing $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales. The 14-time Grammy winner also ended her world tour, which broke records, with one last show at BC Place in Vancouver on December 8.
Sometimes during the show, fans sang “Happy Birthday” to the star because it was her big day that very moment.
Swift called it “unbelievable” that she had over 26.6 billion plays on Spotify in 2024, making her the most-streamed artist in the world for the second year in a row.
