space exploration young talent is needed to develop a huge number of projects needed for space exploration. Among a wide range of scientists around the world, a young Mexican, only 18 years old, entered the select NASA group with a system that, when completed, will take care of the health of the astronauts.
The young woman’s name is Doreli Medina and from Tepicstate Nayarit, a region in northern Mexico near the Pacific coast. According to the same scientist, she has always been fascinated by space things, so much so that one of the first gifts she asked for was a telescope. And it’s a dream for her to get into NASA that way.
Now he will have the opportunity to demonstrate his talent: he entered the International Aerospace Program (IASP)an initiative that is recruiting 60 young people to take them to NASA facilities and work with space agency engineers on a project that is productive for the International Space Station (ISS).

Young woman explaining Infobae Mexico that his project is called “Astro Care”. Its primary purpose is to “monitor and promote the health of astronauts,” Doreli said.
His system has sensors built into the astronauts’ spacesuits. Through the chip, they record cardiovascular and neurological behavior, all for prevention.
“I sent them my idea and later they did an interview all in English where they asked me for general information, things I should know and, well, they know my profile a little closer to see if I would be part of the 60 selected,” a young nayarita stands out.
“The program will take place on November 11, and it takes place at various NASA sites. We start in Alabama, from there we move to other locations, where selected 60 young people will assemble teams of 15 people, each will have mentors to help us, among the teams we will choose an idea and develop its project. In the end, the winning team will have a special distinction, in addition to the fact that their project can be sent to the International Space Station, ”he added in the same interview.
Doreli combines this opportunity with her studies at the university, which continues to this day. She wants to graduate and continue to be associated with science in terms of astronomy. Like many students of the field, he would like to go into space one day.
“I would like to fly to the moon one day, I think this is one of my biggest dreams,” said Dorely Medina.
